Your home deserves
only the best protection while you are away! At Home Safe did
not go into business to provide for pets alone. We take the security
and integrity of your home very seriously! While an At Home Safe
agent is on the premises, ONLY those
people you list on our contracts shall be permitted to set foot
on your property. Any unauthorized visitors will be removed by
the police. It is our policy to work closely with local police
departments to prevent any suspicious activity.
Our agents
are familiar with the common techniques that burglars use to stake
out and rob many homes. We are on guard for these warning signs
and will not hesitate to call the authorities. We make your home
look lived in by bringing in mail, packages, and newspapers, taking
out trash, changing lights & blinds, turning on the TV, and
checking every door and window to see that your home is secure!
For those who
use home alarm systems (which we highly recommend), we request
a temporary alarm code be programmed prior to your trip, then
deactivated immediately after your return. We request that you
do not divulge permanent alarm codes to further protect your privacy.
In addition, most alarm companies will issue temporary passwords
for home sitters. Keys are locked up by the At Home Safe agent
for the duration of the trip, and any written copy of the alarm
pass code is destroyed after your return.
We are also concerned
with your security AFTER you return from your trip! At Home
Safe would be happy to be added to your alarm monitoring company
emergency call list for as long as you remain an At Home Safe
customer! If we are notified by your monitoring service that your
alarm system has been set off, and we have an agent available,
we will attempt to contact you and go to your home as soon as
possible. At Home Safe is currently the ONLY
sitting service that offers this to their customers.

lock yourself out of your house? Now we can help! Get to a phone
and call us! If we have a sitter readily available, we'll head
on over and unlock your door. We're not locksmiths, but we know
how to turn a key, and we don't charge for it....WOW! Locksmiths charge $50-90 dollars for this!
